Hey beauty!
Whew--this past week has been a whirlwind! If you didn't hear, I went on a trip to Los Angeles to attend a business mastermind event with some of the most badass female entrepreneurs I know.
We talked about business strategy, released mindset blocks, and planned for a kickass 2019--not to mention ate at some of the trendiest restaurants and hung out at the coolest rooftop bars (scroll down to see pics!)
Now that I've had some time to reflect, I want to share with you guys some of the top takeaways I had from this event ( because gosh there were so many!)
Without further adieu, here they are!
Takeaway #1: Set the bar high for yourself
It is so important that we are getting outside our comfort zones when we set goals or think about what we want. Life is meant to be an upward journey, so you always want to ensure you are stepping into more and more greatness--you deserve it. Plus, by you setting the bar high, you give others permission to do the same.
Takeaway #2: You do a disservice to the world by not following through on your big ideas
If you had a pill that cured cancer but you didn't share it with the world because you were afraid, think about all the unnecessary suffering that would happen. Your current business ideas are no different--when you fail to follow-through on your vision, you literally keep your customers suffering. Your products/services are solutions to their biggest frustrations/pain points!
Takeaway #3: Action over perfection
So many of us have an attachment to perfection. We spend our time fixing, tweaking, adjusting, and starting from scratch rather than actually executing, sharing, or launching anything. Because "perfect" doesn't actually exist, you'll always be waiting. Instead, take action first and tweak as you go!
Even more than these takeaways, it was truly SO amazing to be in the presence of like-minded women. Being in their energy has made me so crazy inspired and ready to finish out 2018 with a bang!
