Biggest lessons I learned in my business in 2018

I hope your 2019 is off to a great start and that you're feeling inspired, excited, and refreshed after the holiday break!

I love this time of year because it's such a great opportunity to reflect on lessons learned from the year behind and, thus, gain insight for the year ahead!

Taken from my own reflection, here are the 3 biggest lessons I learned in my business in 2018:

#1: Stay in your own lane

It's really easy to get caught up in what other people are doing (especially as on online entrepreneur!). This can make us feel like we need to be experts in #allthethings to keep up with everyone else. The reality, is you don't want to spread yourself too thin. It's better to be a total expert in a few areas than to have moderate knowledge in a laundry list of areas. Focus on your unique gifts and let them shine!

#2: Expand your definition of success

There are so many ways that we grow and evolve--some that are tangible, easy to measure, and physical, where others that are internal, energetic, and even invisible. When you only recognize yourself for accomplishing the physical successes, you overlook so much magic! For example, success isn't just about how much money you made, how many followers you gained, or how many clients you signed. It's also about how you started to feel, how much freedom you gained, how strong you became, etc. Such a powerful shift!

#3: Set the bar HIGH for yourself

Stop playing small. You weren't put on this earth to downplay your gifts. Give yourself permission to dream big and live fully. What would you want if you could not fail? How would your ideal life look if it was 100% guaranteed? Trusting that you're 100% worthy, go for the goals that scare the sh%t out of you and be ready to get uncomfortable every day--this is where the magic happens!

Becoming my own boss has become such a beautiful way to evolve--I swear I learn new lessons every day.

Whether you are just starting out on your entrepreneurial journey, or you're a seasoned business owner, I encourage you to implement the lessons I've shared into your own business.

Okay, gorgeous, sending SO much love your way!
