I full on bought into the idea that I missed my shot...
But here's the thing, there really is no such thing as being too late.
When you feel inspired and excited to take action, it's a sign that it's divinely timed.
If it didn't happen for you earlier it's because on some level you or the Universe weren't ready for it just yet.
Now that you do have the idea and the inspiration, it's time to effing run with it.
You don't have to know exactly where you're going, what your business will look like, or how you're going to become successful yet.
Just start leaning into the excitement and follow the signs. Take whatever actions you're already aware of and worry about the rest later.
You can literally start in such small ways--buying your domain name, setting up an empty email list, starting a brand new Instagram account...
It just takes a willingness to move through the inspired actions and to release the excuse that it's too late--there really is no such thing as "competition" or "saturation" when you're showing up as your full, true self--no one else will be offering the exact same service or helping the exact same type of client.
Take it from me--it was so freeing when I gave up the idea that timing mattered.
I knew that I was exactly the right age, in the exactly right life stage, in the exactly right time to get started because I finally understood that the Universe gives us inspired ideas only at divine times (regardless of what our logic tells us).
Of course, be careful you're not allowing fear to talk you into delaying taking action for a "better" time in the "future" either, because that's definitely a whole separate issue...but that's a conversation for another day...haha ;)

I didn't think I could have it "that good"
I want to be honest...
There was a time where I would see incredible women online living the life I deep down so desperately wanted.
I was [just slightly] obsessed and couldn't help but surround my social feed and inbox with these women.
I would consume all the content of theirs I could...the free webinars, the Youtube videos, the blog posts, the Facebook lives, the Instagram photos...
I loved that they were turning their passions into businesses and making huge impacts and good money while doing it.
What got me the most was that you could tell these women felt good too. Like, they literally glowed from the inside out.

When "tough love" is self-care...
Hey beauty!
If you've been following me for a while, you know I talk a lot about self-care on this platform...
I talk about treating yourself with ultimate love and respect, speaking kindly to yourself, honoring your worth, the importance of incorporating a daily ritual into your life...the list goes on.
But today, I want to talk about a different type of self-care. It's a form of self-care that's less glamorous and harder for us to get behind.
It's the kind of self-care that requires you to be brutally honest with yourself. The kind that requires a little bit of tough love. The kind that demands you "call yourself out on your B.S."
As much as it can be a struggle for women I see to give themselves the love they deserve, it can be an even bigger struggle for them to see their blindspots, to make the difficult, but necessary, changes in their lives, and to stop making excuses for themselves.
Here's the truth though: Until you're willing to practice self-care in all forms, the lovey-dovey, bubble bathy, treating yourself like a Queen esque self-care won't do much for you...
You have to be willing to:
+ Face what you've been avoiding
+ Stop lying to yourself
+ Hold yourself accountable to the things you said you'd do
+ Get out of victim mode
+ Overcome the excuses you make about your life
+ Stop creating double standards that favor you
+ Have the difficult conversations
+ Stop waiting for someone/something else to improve your life for you
It isn't easy work and most of us have a lot of resistance to it, but it's absolutely necessary in moving your life and business forward.
The trick is being firm, but in a loving, compassionate way. Eventually you'll see that giving yourself tough love is one of the most genuine acts of self-care.
If you're not going to, who else is? You have to be there for yourself first and foremost (and that requires doing the "uncomfortable" work, too!).

How much longer are you willing to wait?
Hey gorgeous!
I have to give you some tough love today (but I promise it’s because I care!). Here’s my question for you >>>> Do you honestly think that if you continue doing the exact same things you’ve been doing, living the exact way you’ve been living, that you’ll get to the end of 2019 and truly be proud of yourself/satisfied with where you are?
I have to ask because I’ve heard from a lot of women who tell me all of their exciting goals for the rest of the year and their dream life vision, but haven’t been willing to make any real change.
They’ve convinced themselves that it’s just not the right time. They’re super busy and aren’t ready to get started right now anyway. They don’t have enough money to invest and they can’t understand where other people came up with the funds to start their business. Besides, even if money and time were’t problems for them, their family and friends would probably not be fans of them starting this business and they’d have no idea where to start or what action to take anyway.
Any idea what’s really going on here, FNAME?
Let me start by saying that if this is where you’re at right now, I HEAR YOU. I believe that you aren’t where you want to be financially, that you don’t always feel like time is on your side, and that your family and friends just don’t “get it” yet.
But what you need to know, is that if you keep living how you’ve been living—taking the same actions, seeing the same people, thinking the same thoughts, etc.—none of this is going to change for you. The sad truth is that you may even find yourself 6 months, 1 year, or even multiple years down the line having the same internal struggle and thinking to yourself, “oh I really want this _________ but it still hasn’t happened for me. Maybe next year will be my year…”
The other thing you need to realize is that these surface level excuses are almost always covering up deeper, rawer, darker beliefs about ourselves that we either aren’t willing to admit or aren’t willing to face. Crazy, right?
I’m talking about the beliefs that we have about our own potential…
I’m not capable of success
What it I put time, energy, effort, and money into this and it totally fails?
What if I get made fun of, judged, or hated online?
What if I disappoint my friends of family? What if I get really successful and they hate me for it?
What if no one would ever want to hire me?
As hard as it can be to admit, these are usually the real beliefs that are keeping you stuck.
Think about it this way, if you KNEW deep down in your core that you’d be successful, would the up front investment really stop you? Would your busy schedule or some push-back from a few distant family members really stand in your way?
FNAME, I share this with you because I would hate to see the surface level excuses keep you stuck for even another month, let alone another year (or more!).
I’m giving you all the permission you need to clear out the surface level junk that’s clouding you from what’s going on at a deeper level.
Ask yourself this question >>>> “If I had all the money and time in the world and if I knew the exact steps to take to start my business, would I actually be willing to start tomorrow? Or would there be something deeper holding me back?”
If a deeper belief comes up, thank it for serving it's time and then be willing to lovingly let it go. Release it from your awareness so you can move forward without it keeping you stuck any longer.
Because seriously, how long are you really willing to wait before the business and life you desire is yours?
Don’t any more time go by before you finally say “YES” to yourself.

Are you saying "no" to money?
Hey gorgeous!
So real talk - Are you the type of person that always feels like you never have enough money? Do you feel like no matter what you do, you always wish there was more money coming in? Maybe you wonder how wealthy people cracked the code and wonder why you haven’t seemed to get so lucky?
First of all, if this is you right now, I feel you! I think we’ve all felt like this on some level/at one point or another. While feeling like this has its time and place, I want you to know that at the end of the day, money is energy….there, I said it. Assuming this is true, the better our energy is, the more effortlessly we’ll be able to attract money into our lives.
This is the catch: even if you’re energy is overall good, there may be some simple ways you have been blocking money from coming in (in other words, saying “no” to money!).
Here are some simple ways you can start saying “hell YES” to money coming your way:
If you see loose change, always pick it up! - When you see money (yes, even on the ground outside) it’s time to start accepting it. Every time you decline money, even just a penny, you tell the Universe that you don’t need it. This also goes for gifts…if someone offers you a gift of money, be willing to lovingly accept it. Accept all the money that comes your way!
Show your money respect - Keep you wallet tidy, organize your bank accounts, and show gratitude for your money as it’s coming in and as it is flowing out.
Stop making negative conclusions about your relationship with money - Saying that you “aren’t good with money” or “aren’t smart enough to make money” will energetically block money from coming your way. How could you step into the person that is good with money or is smart/successful enough to receive it? Where is money coming in already that you could turn your attention to instead of where it’s not?
Opening yourself up to receive money in little, everyday ways is powerful. Doing this every day will eventually add up, showing the Universe that you are serious about calling in an abundant flow of funds.
Money is a tool that we are all worthy of receiving to help us live our most fulfilling, purposeful lives. It’s time to stop saying “no” to money by energetically blocking it.

Start acting like everyone IS watching...
Hey gorgeous!
I’m sure you’ve heard the saying, “act like no one is watching…” People often use this saying to encourage others to behave how they would if they were alone in their own space and didn’t have to fear the judgement of others.
As much as I love this saying, when it comes to entrepreneurship and online coaching, I actually think the opposite rings more true. When we’re first starting out in the online space, it can be easy to assume that no one cares, no one sees our content, what we’re doing doesn’t matter, etc.
Even though it can feel like this, I want you to start showing up as though everyone IS watching you. To start delivering to the 1 person on your mailing list, the 10 people in your Facebook group, or the 100 people that follow your new Instagram account the same way you would if you had thousands on each platform. Let’s face it—the first follower is just as powerful as the 1 millionth follower (if not more powerful since they became attracted to you without needing social proof!).
Show up as though your business matters, that it’s worth caring about, and that other people are watching. If you keep showing up like you only have 1 subscriber/follower, you’ll likely never get another (or at least not the massive growth you’re desiring deep down). Show up like you have millions and you’ll naturally attract more. This means posting consistently, delivering high value content, getting vunerable, sharing your message, etc.
You’ll be amazed how much things can change when you start doing this…
Let’s face it, if you don’t believe your business matters or that anyone cares, how could anyone else believe this? You have to lead the way.
People ARE watching and they DO care. Show up like you believe this.

3 Reasons You're Worthy of Your Own Business

Writing to you from LA today and feeling SO grateful to be here - I seriously always come back from this city with so much inspiration and high vibes!
While I was writing in my journal this morning I was reminiscing on some of the blocks I used to have around having my own business and could guess that some of you share the same ones. One of the biggest blocks for me was worthiness. Sound familiar?
I often had these questions flowing through my mind: Was I really the woman who could become successful? Was I really capable of growing a following? Could I actually get paid for something that lit my soul on fire? Wasn’t I supposed to just do what everyone else around me was doing and work a 9-5 that sucked the life out of me? Why did I deserve anything better?
When you can learn to flip the switch on your negative self talk and remind yourself of all the reasons that you ARE the woman who can run her own business, make money with ease, create a massive impact, travel the world, etc. etc. etc., you’re able to break through so much of those pesky limitations.
In case you need to hear it from someone else today, here are 3 reasons you’re worthy of starting your own business (regardless of what anyone else has told you - including yourself!):
If you want it, it’s meant for you.
Whenever we desire something, it is because in some way, shape, or form, it is meant for us. The next time something excites you lean into the excitement. Stop telling yourself all the reasons you can’t have it. Allow the abundance to flow in!
You have a message to share (and the world is waiting for you to do so!)
Yes, YOU have a big message to share. You have special gifts and unique life experiences that allow YOU to be the exact solution to someone else’s pain/problems. Own all that you’ve been given and notice just how valuable it is to those that are a few steps behind you. Don’t do a disservice to the world by not starting.
It is your birthright to do work that lights your soul on fire.
Stop telling yourself that life/work/making money is supposed to be hard…this is such a lie! It is possible for you to do all of these things with ease. It is possible for you to do all of these things in a way that completely fills you up. Don’t settle for anything that can’t make you fall in love with your life.
How good does it feel to DECIDE you are worthy, DECIDE that abundance can flow to you with ease, and DECIDE to take the first step? Put all of the B.S. and negative self talk behind you and chose the life + business you are truly worthy of having.
